Navigating Parenthood: Addressing Systemic Trauma in Foster Care
Amore Wellness Hub, we recognize the profound impact the child welfare system has on the youth it serves. Our services are crafted to equip professionals with the knowledge and resources needed to support foster youth who face the challenges of parenting while also navigating the effects of systemic trauma. We strive to create a safe space for parenting foster youth, both current and former, explore and address the trauma rooted in their child welfare experiences, understand how it shapes their parenting roles, and embark on a journey of healing.
